This paper focuses on the study of the effect of seismic forces on 50 storey RCC building with shear wall provided. By providing shear wall at suitable locations the required stiffness can be provided. But for the buildings taller than 15 to 20 stories this system is not adequate because it does not provide the required lateral stiffness. ![]() These buildings general used RCC framed structures subjected to vertical as well as horizontal loads.
